Ki-Aikido

The Ki no Kenkyukai (English " Ki Society ," dt " Ki Society " ) is the organization founded by Koichi Tohei for Shin- Shin- Toitsu Dō ( " path of unity of mind and body " ), Shin- Shin- Toitsu Aikido ( " Aikido in unity of mind and body " ) and Kiatsu ( acupressure with Ki).

History

Koichi Tohei was Morihei Ueshiba until well after death, the chief instructor of the Aikikai. After disputes within the Aikikai on the development of Aikido in 1971 he founded the Ki no Kenkyukai, 1974 and left the Aikikai. This step was followed also Koretoshi Maruyama, with Tohei until its withdrawal in a Zen monastery (1991 ) worked. In 2002, Kenjiro Yoshigasaki left the Ki no Kenkyukai (Ki Society) and founded his own international umbrella organization, the Ki No Kenkyukai Association Internationale. Since Ki- Aikido is represented by two associations. Since 1995, Koretoshi Maruyama has again facing the Aikido and developed Aikido Yuishinkai.

Dissemination

The headquarters of the Ki no Kenkyukai (Ki Society ) is located in Ichikai in Tochigi Prefecture in Japan. According to information from the Association are in Japan at 30,000 people. Principles of Shin- Shin- Do Toitsu

Shin- Shin- Toitsu Aikido
