K9

The Kia K9 is a model of the upper class of the Korean automaker Kia. It supplements the Kia K7 in the Korean market since May 2012. The car is a derivative of the platform Bra L (VI ) of the Hyundai Equus. The K9 is shorter than the Equus, has a more aggressive, sporty orientation with a longer wheelbase and shorter front overhang. It was designed by the new Kia chief designer Peter Schreyer, who had previously worked for Audi. First introduced was the K9 concept in 2012 at the New York International Auto Show Kia GT. Is powered by two K9 Hyundai GDI petrol engines with 3.3 and 3.8 liter displacement.

Kia Quoris

As Kia Quoris the rear -wheel drive sedan in the fourth quarter of 2012 is marketed in export, but an introduction to Germany is not currently planned. In addition to a parking aid the Quoris becomes the first Kia over a distance radar. This system detects the street in front of the vehicle up to a distance of 174 meters. Up to 70 meters of the lane change assistant detects vehicles approaching at high speed from behind and alerts the driver. The Quoris there with the known from the K9 six-cylinder engine with 3.8 liters and 290 hp, and in addition with a 4.6 -liter V8 engine. The power transmission takes each an eight- speed automatic transmission.
