Kia Soul (2008-2011)

The Kia Soul is a car model of the South Korean automaker Kia Motors. The is no particular class of vehicle attributable car is similar in concept to a minivan, but not owned by its variability. The vehicle provides for a relatively short length, with a long wheelbase and a spacious vehicle height five people comfortably. Both front-wheel drive engines are based on engines from the Kia cee'd and have four cylinders, 16 valves and double overhead camshafts in conjunction with manual and automatic transmissions. In the U.S. and some non-European markets also a 2.0 - liter petrol engine is offered, which was replaced by an equal recent construction in summer 2011.

Facelift

End of October 2011, a revised version of the Soul has been introduced. This model has a wider air intake and larger fog lights. In addition, the headlights have been redesigned and now have a black bezel. The lower part of the double headlights now takes over the function of the daytime running lights, which has been implemented in the higher equipment lines with LEDs. At the tail fall after the facelift new LED taillights and a black bar on the bumper, which stretches across the entire width of the vehicle. Inside, the center console has been revised. Kia Soul EV

Kia has tested 2013 first prototype of an electrically driven soul. In November 2013, the production model Soul EV was announced, the launch will be in 2014. Soul of the EV is based on the second generation of the Soul.
