History

After the first kibbutz Deganja A was founded in 1909, in 1925 formed the first umbrella organization, namely Chewer HaKwutzot. She was assigned to the center-left and tried to stay with the political rights of the Jewish population in contact.

In 1927, as an alternative, the organization Kibbutz Hameuchad further left standing, and " preferred the United Kibbutz as a pioneer of a large community at the national level. "

In 1928, the leftmost umbrella organization founded Kibbutz HaArtzi ( with the left-wing socialist Mapam party joined today Meretz ). In 1998, she represented 85 kibbutzim.

The political disputes always revolved essentially around the question of which law the ( classic bourgeois ) individuality (including the nuclear family ) in a collective way of life still has. After the establishment of Israel, these differences increased.

1951, so the kibbutz social democratic center-left split ( Ben Gurion, Mapai, today Avoda party ) of the organization Kibbutz Hameuchad, went along with the Chewer HaKwutzot and formed the new umbrella organization Ichud HaKvutzot VeHaKibbutzim. The 1951 remaining members of the organization Kibbutz Hameuchad were close to the socialist Ahdut - Haavoda party. From this time the divisions of kibbutzim remained together spatially (usually surrounded by a common security fence ) originate, but to the common kibbutz name, Ichud 'or' Me'uchad ' anhängten, for example Aschdot Yaakov or En Harod. "In 1979 joined Ichud and Kibbutz Hameuchad the United Kibbutz Movement" together HaTenoa'a HaKibbuzit HaMeuchedet (abbreviated Hatakam ), thus requiring the separation of 1951 reversed.

In the course of political and economic crisis in the Kibbutzim finally united in 1999 (see above) HaTenoa'a HaKibbuzit HaMeuchedet and the left socialist organization Kibbutz HaArtzi to today's HaTenoa'a HaKibbuzit.
