Kid Cudi ( born January 30, 1984 in Shaker Heights, Cleveland, Ohio as Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi ) is an American rapper and actor. In his music he mixes alternative rock, hip- hop and trip-hop elements.

Biography
Cudi initially grew up in Cleveland and moved to New York later. In collaboration with the New York label 10 Deep Clothing he published in July 2008, his first mixtape A KiD Named CuDi as a free download on the Internet. Guest musicians worked with the rapper Wale. Through the work of Kanye West became aware of Kid Cudi and signed him to his label GOOD Music.
Early September 2008, Cudi appeared on the side of Travis Barker and DJ AM at the MTV Video Music Awards. In the published in November 2008 album 808s & Heartbreak by Kanye West he can be heard as a guest rapper on the title Welcome to Heartbreak and wrote to Paranoid and the top ten song with Heartless.

In 2010, Kid Cudi founded with producer Dot Da Genius, the alternative band WZRD. The inspiration for the band 's name is derived from the song The Wizard by Black Sabbath.
On October 5, the advance single Just What I appeared Am ( feat. King chip). The song can also be found on the album Indicud, which was released on April 12, 2013. Moreover hits like Immortal and King WZRD can be found on the album.
End of February 2014 he released his album Satellite Flight: The Journey out to Mother Moon. For this album, the rapper took four months.
Cudi plays the character in the film Benni Need for Speed . The film was released in Germany on 20 March 2014.
