Kiel is a small town ( with a status of "City" ) in Manitowoc County and to a lesser extent in Sheboygan County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. In 2010, Kiel had 3738 inhabitants.
Geography
Kiel is located in eastern Wisconsin, on either side of the opening into the Lake Michigan Sheboygan River. Lake Michigan is located approximately 25 km to the east, to Lake Winnebago is 25 km to the west.
