Kieron Dwyer

Kieron Dwyer ( born March 6, 1967) is an American comic book artist.

Life and work

Dwyer began in the mid -1980s to work on the mediation of his stepfather John Byrne as a professional cartoonist. Since then he has worked among others for the two major U.S. comic book publishers, DC Comics and Marvel Comics, and working most recently in the Portland Community Center Periscope Studio.

Dwyer's work includes activities as a regular illustrator for the series Captain America (1987-1990), Danger Unlimited ( 1994) Action Comics (1995 -1996 ) and Avengers (2001-2003).

2000 came Dwyer in the headlines when he was sued by the company Starbucks Coffee because it the world famous logo of the company - is widespread in parodic variation in various comics and as a motif on t-shirts and the like - the sketched face portrait of a siren.
