Kieselbronn

Kieselbronn is a municipality in the Enz in Baden- Württemberg, about seven kilometers from the regional center of Pforzheim. The municipality Kieselbronn except the homonymous village There are no other villages.

Kieselbronn is located on a ridge north of Pforzheim.

Historical Geography

The municipality is the first mentioned in 1376 and after 1400 fallen desolate village Iselsbach.

History

Kieselbronn was first mentioned on January 6, 1100 when Bishop John I. Speyer of the village presented the monastery Sinsheim. In the following centuries the lords changed several times until 1810 Kieselbronn came to the Grand Duchy of Baden.

Mayor Kieselbronns since October 1, 2001 Heiko Faber (independent).

The first time the Diploma in Public Administration (FH ) was elected on 22 July 2001, Mayor of Kieselbronn. He received 63.10 % of the votes in the second ballot. The turnout was 70%.

Heiko Faber was reelected in the mayoral election on 5 July 2010 as the only candidate with 97.45 % of votes cast. Turnout was given the sole application of Mayor Heiko Faber at an impressive 46.31 %.

Since 2004 Heiko Faber sits for the Free Voters Association ( FWV ) in the council of Enzkreises and there is a member of the Administrative and Economic Committee. Since 2009, Heiko Faber also belongs to the Association meeting of the Regional Council of the Northern Black Forest, where it is a member of the planning committee.

Prior to his election as mayor of the municipality Kieselbronn the native Knittlinger worked as the main office manager at the church Uhlingen birch village in the district of Waldshut.

Coat of arms

The municipal arms, " In a golden red Webbed " appears in the 18th century in the seal of the municipality; the coat of arms colors, however, were not defined until 1907. Origin and meaning of the coat of arms are still not fully understood.

Partner municipalities of Kieselbronn are the French Bernin near Grenoble (since 1987) and the Thuringian Heyersdorf ( since 1990).

Kieselbronn has good motorway connections to the A8 Karlsruhe - Stuttgart at the connection points Pforzheim -Nord ( 2 km) and Pforzheim -Ost ( Eutingen 3 km), as well as to the federal highways 10 (Karlsruhe - Stuttgart ) and 294 ( Pforzheim - Bretten ).

The municipality has 7 bus stops ( Dürrner Street, Town Hall, Pforzheimer Straße, Car Hall, Sonnenbühl / Schauinslandstraße, Eutinger road and Wartberg view).
