Kik Messenger

Kik Messenger is an instant messenger available since 2010 for smartphones. It can be related through the official channels of the respective platforms such as Google Play or iTunes Store and is available free of charge.

History

In January 2009, the Kik Interactive Inc. was founded by students of the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. Following the publication of the first version of Kik Messenger in October 2010, the number of users grew steadily as well.

In November 2013 saw the free app over 100 million users. The majority of users of the Messengers is 11-15 years old.

Functions
