Kikkia

Kikkia (earlier reading also Kikia ) reigned as 28 Old Assyrian King 1994-1978 BC ( short chronology ) or 2058-2042 BC (middle chronology ). He is known only from the king list and is regarded as the builder of the first city wall of Ashur. Its existence is controversial.

The name was Arthur Ungnad, as interpreted by the Ušpia as Hurrian (BA VI, 5, p.13), a thesis that no longer can be held today. Already Poebel thought this was unconvincing.
