Kikoriki (animated series)
Kikoriki (Russian Смешарики, Smeschariki ) is the name of a Russian animated television series of the transmitter STS. The previous 208 episodes of six and a half minutes are aimed at the whole family, but especially to children aged between four and nine years. The first episode appeared in Russia in July 2004. An English adaptation under the name Gogoriki is sent in the U.S. since September 2008. A German version is broadcast under the name Kikoriki since December 8, 2008.
Content
The main actors of the series, the ten Smeschariki are in spherical shape stylized animals with human behaviors and habits. The name Smeschariki ( singular Smescharik ) is an invented word, in this case specifically a portmanteau, which obviously on Russian " смешные шарики " ( smeschnyje schariki, German as " droll Kullern " ) back.
Each Smescharik has characteristic peculiarities and individual interests, none of them is evil. The plot is not due to conflicts between the Smeschariki, but on the common masters external challenges.
