Kildare

Kildare ( Irish: Cill Dara ) is located in the west of the same Irish county. The city was founded in the 5th century and has 7538 inhabitants ( 2006).

In the area of the city is the Irish National Stud, a stud, which represents the interests of the Irish thoroughbred breeding.

In Kildare a railway line branches off from the south to Kilkenny and Waterford, another west to Cork and towards the east in the Irish capital Dublin. In addition, here the motorway ends to Dublin.

The main attraction of the place is the circular tower.
