History

The album was conceived by frontman Dennis DeYoung as a stage show, which begins with a short film of the same name. When the subsequent tour proved to be unprofitable, it was canceled. From the album so far could sell over two million copies. Commercial success was the sale by the song Mr. Roboto and Do not Let It End wear. The recordings took place in the Pumpkin Studios, Oak Lawn, Illinois.

The concept of the album is about the history of the last rock ' n ' roll stars Robert Orin Charles Kilroy ( first letter: ROCK) imprisoned because of his music in a world where rock 'n ' roll is prohibited.
