Kim Andersen (cyclist)

Kim Andersen ( born October 2, 1958 in Malling, Denmark ) is a former Danish racing cyclist. His active career spanned the From 1980 until 1992. Since 1998 he has been a sports director in cycling active, most recently at Team Saxo Bank, where he was, however, released in June 2010, when it became known that he, along with Andy and Fränk racers Schleck is planning to build a new racing team based in Luxembourg for 2011 season.

Andersen became known as the first lifetime locked doping offenders of cycling. In the Coppa Placci 1985, the Flèche Wallonne 1986 ( he had become a second) and the Tour du Limousin 1987, he tested positive. The penalty was reduced but a year later to one year. A positive test again in 1992 ended his driving career.
