Kim Carr

Kim Carr ( born July 2, 1955 in Tumut, New South Wales) is an Australian politician and teacher.

Life

After leaving school, Carr studied at the University of Melbourne Art and Education. After his studies he worked as a teacher before he was professionally active in politics then. Carr is a member of the Australian Labor Party. He became a senator in the Australian Senate in 1993.

Since 2007, Carr Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research in Australia.
