Kim Dong-jin

Kim Dong -jin ( born January 29, 1982 in Dongducheon ) is a South Korean football player. The left-back currently plays for FC Seoul.

Career

At 18, Kim began his Erstligakarriere in South Korea at FC Seoul, at that time still called themselves Anyang Cheetahs. This was also the most successful period of the club in recent years, the championship followed in 2000 the runner-up in 2001 and the final of the Asian Champions Cup in 2002. Kim established himself on the left side of midfield and came over the years to more than 100 top-flight appearances for the club.

End of 2003, his first assignment was in the South Korean national team. In 2004, he belonged to the tribe of the Olympic team and played in all games in Athens. Since then, he is an integral part of the national team and also denied seven qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany. In contrast to the club he was there, however, used defensively on the left side of defense. At the World Cup he graduated in the World Cup squad South Korea, two of the three World Cup games in his country.

He and his compatriot Lee Ho followed after the World Cup to the outgoing national coach Dick Advocaat to Russia and have since Zenit St. Petersburg in use. Kim Dong -jin appeared as a substitute in the UEFA Cup 2007/2008 Final at the last minute for Victor Faisulin.

In 2010 he moved back into the domestic K -League and joined Ulsan Hyundai FC. In 2011 he moved again, this time joined FC Seoul. In 2012, he moved to China to Hangzhou Nabel Greentown.
