Kim Min-jung (Badminton)
Kim Min -jung ( Kor. 김민정; born July 29, 1986 in Jeju ) is a badminton player from South Korea.
Sporting career
Kim Min -jung took part in 2008 Olympics, where he was ninth in the women's doubles with Ha Jung- eun. The Badminton World Championship 2009 she stood in the mixed also in the second round with Yoo Yeon- seong. 2007 had both already won gold at the Universiade. In the Swiss Open Super Series 2010, she made it to the quarterfinals at the German Open 2007, the China Open in 2008, the Swiss Open in 2009, the All England Super Series 2009 and the Singapore Super Series 2008 and 2009 and in the semi-finals. In 2009 and 2010 she was runner-up in each mixed at the Asian Championships. In the Uber Cup 2008, she was with the South Korean team third parties, in 2010 she won the World Cup for women's teams. In the 2012 Olympics, she was disqualified along with her partner Ha Jung- eun by the World Association for match-fixing from the games. In the final group game, the two showed visible not the will to win the game, as they would be taken at a subsequent defeat in the knockout stage on supposedly weaker opponents.
