Kim Moo-kyo

Kim Moo -kyo ( born August 27, 1975 in Gyeongju, South Korea) is a South Korean table tennis player. At the World Championships she stood twice in the final and bronze medal winner at the Olympic Games 2000.

Career

Kim Moo -kyo is left-handed and plays in shakehand service grip. From 1995 to 2004 she took part in six World Cups. They came in 1995 with the South Korean women's team and 2001 in Mixed with Oh Sang- eun to the finals. In 1999, she reached the doubles with Park Hae -jung the semifinals. In the team competition she won bronze in 2000 and 2001.

Thrice qualified Kim Moo -kyo to participate in the Grand Finals of the ITTF Pro Tour series. Here they came in a double Kyung Ae Park in 1996 with the semifinals and 1997 with Park Hae -jung to the final. Successfully she was also at the Asian Championships, where she was in 1998 with Park Hae- young, Ryu Ji -hae 2000, second in doubles.

At the Olympic Summer Games Kim Moo -kyo was represented in 1996 and 2000 in doubles. In 2000, she won with Ryu Ji -hae bronze. In the ITTF World Ranking she finished in March and October 2001 No. 17

After the end of her active career, she worked as a trainer.
