Kim Myong-gil

Kim Myong -gil (born 16 October 1984) is a North Korean football goalkeeper.

Career

Kim has performed internationally as a player of the sports group Amrokgang in appearance, the club of the Ministry of State Security.

In 2005 he was during qualifying for the 2006 World Cup in five games for the North Korean national team on the court. In the final round of the East Asian Championship in 2005, he finished as a goalkeeper with North Korea, the third rank, in 2008 he took, as a substitute keeper Ri Myong- guk of, again at the final tournament. Also during the successful qualification for the 2010 World Cup Ri was first-choice goalkeeper, Kim took in all 14 games of the 2nd and 3rd qualifying round on the reserve bench. In 2006, Kim participated as goalkeeper with the North Korean U -23 at the Asian Games when the team failed to South Korea in the quarterfinals.

In August 2009 was the surprising failure in the qualifying round of the East Asian Cup 2010 continues Ri in goal, Kim was the role of the substitute Keepers in this competition. Also in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, where the National team was eliminated in the first round after three defeats with 1:12 gates, Ri was preferred to Kim.
