Kim Roar Hansen ( born March 24, 1984 in Drammen ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper.

Career

Hansen entered the 2001/ 02 season, the first time in ski jumping Continental Cup (COC ). In the following season 2002/ 03 he was appointed to the Norwegian World Cup team. In the World Cup he was able to achieve some results in the top 15, reaching at the end of the season in the standings to 36th place. However, for it was only the seventh- best Norwegian and was downgraded in the following season in the launch in COC B team. Here, however, he were given the opportunity by the coach to sit in on the senior national team training camps and return by good performances in the World Cup team. After he was able to finish second at the Continental Cup in Lillehammer in mid-December, he started a week later at the World Cup in Engelberg. But since he does with a 34th place missed the second round here, he started from the beginning of 2004 again in the COC. In the Norwegian Championships 2004 Bardu he won together with Tommy Egeberg, Ole Enger and Sigurd Pettersen Christians the bronze medal in the team competition.

In the World Cup he was initially able to demonstrate good rankings but at the end of the season his form was getting worse. There were also some disciplinary offenses, such as a lost jump suit and a non-approved nocturnal excursion at the COC in Kuopio. That's why he was aligned when, as a conclusion of the COC season, ski flying in Vikersund used only as a fore. After the end of the season, his membership has been withdrawn temporarily to the B- squad, to give him an opportunity to think about his situation. Shortly thereafter ended Hansen, at the age of only 19 years, due to lack of motivation his career
