Kim Sang-sik

Kim Sang- shik ( born December 17, 1976 in the province of Jeollanam -do) is a South Korean football player.

Career

Kim began his career in 1999 at Ilhwa Chunma. There, the defender knew to convince and completed on 30 May 2000 his first international match for South Korea against Yugoslavia. In 2003 he moved to Gwangju Sangmu Phoenix, where he played during his military service. After completion of two years of service, he returned in 2005 to his hometown club Ilhwa Chunma back.

2006 he was appointed national team coach Dick Advocaat in the squad for the World Cup. There he saw two brief appearances when he came on in the games against Togo and France respectively in the second half.
