Kim Song-guk

Kim Song - guk (born 11 April 1984) is a former North Korean boxer. Kim was bronze medalist of the Asian Games in 2006 and the 2006 World Championships, silver medalist at the 2005 Asian Championships and the 2004 Olympic Games and Asian champions in 2007.

Career

His first international championship played Kim at the 2002 Asian Championships in Seremban. Featherweight ( -57 kg ) starting he left quarter-final against Suttisak Samaksaman, Thailand, from. Also the Asian Games in the same year ended for him in the preliminary round.

In 2004, Kim qualified by winning the second Asian Olympic Qualification Tournament in Guangzhou for the Olympic Games in Athens. At the games, he reached after beating Konstantin Kupatadze, Georgia ( 25:14 ), Muideen Ganiyu, Nigeria ( 32:11 ), and Vitali Tajbert, Germany ( 29:24 ) in the final.
