Kim Young-kwang

Kim Young- kwang (born 28 June 1983) is a South Korean football goalkeeper.

Career

Kim is the great young talent among South Korean goalkeepers. In 2002, he already stated in his first year as a pro at the Chunnam Dragons to a league record when he was ten matches without conceding a goal. Since then, he's there number one.

Also in the South Korean Kim Young- kwang national is very successful. Already in the U20 at the Junior World Championship in 2003 and in the U23 at the 2004 Olympics, he was the number one goal of each selection. In February 2004, he also had his first cap for the senior team and worked up to the Football World Cup 2006 in Germany the second position in the target. In the World Cup squad, he remained South Korea's replacement behind the 33 -year-old Lee Woon- jae, who played all World Cup games in South Korea.
