Kimberley Mickle

Kimberley Mickle ( born December 28, 1984 in Perth ) is an Australian javelin thrower.

The youth world champion from 2001 had their first major success at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, where she finished fourth. In the same year she was fifth at the IAAF World Cup.

In 2009, she retired at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin in qualifying and finished sixth at the IAAF World Athletics Final. The following year she won silver at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.

Until now, it was five times national champion (2005-2007, 2009, 2010 ). Your personal best of 63.49 m she put on in Perth on March 15, 2009.

She won at the World Athletics Championships 2013 in Moscow with a personal best jump of 66.60 meters silver medal.

Kimberley Mickle is 1,68 m tall and weighs 69 kg. She is coached by Grant Ward and starts for the Mandurah Rockingham Athletics Club.
