Kimberly Jean Brown ( born November 16, 1984 in Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA) is an American actress.
Career
Kimberly Jean Brown began at the age of five years with the acting. She starred in commercials among others. Seven year old, she starred in a Broadway show for the first time. At the age of nine she already acted in three Broadway shows, and thus made history: Adoring the Sun, Les Misérables and Show Boat.
At the age of eleven, she was nominated for her portrayal of Marah Lewis in Springfield Story for Daytime Emmy Award, where she played the emotional daughter of the famous soap couple Robert Newman ( Josh ) and Kim Zimmer ( Reva ).
Due to the emerging awareness, the young Broadway career and multiple nominations for her role on GL, she appeared ( among other things) in People Magazine. Brown won for best actress in a daytime drama Hollywood 's Young Artist Awards ( YAA ) and was used by the Hollywood reporters of the Young Star Awards ( YSA ) nominated as best actress.
She had several appearances with the Olsen twins in the television sitcom The Parent Trap alone and made numerous commercials with Bill Cosby and Olympic gold medalist Bonnie Blair. Other guest appearances they had in the television series Unhappily Ever After, Touched by an Angel, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Brown lent her voice to many animated by General Mills commercials. In addition, in Vampire Miyu and " Lena" she gave an ant in Disney's animated film A Bug's Life, the animated character " Miyu " in The Little Polar Bear one vote.
Brown was known by the Disney Channel movies Halloweentown, Halloweentown II and Halloweentown III: Halloweentown High School, where she starred opposite Debbie Reynolds the " Marnie ", a teenage witch, who discovers that she has magical powers.
The New York Times wrote about Brown's coming-of -age role in the indie film Tumbleweeds: " ... The child performance of the year" where she starred with Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominee Janet McTeer. Many critics saw Brown on the shortlist for an Oscar and Golden Globe nominee, later she won the Independent Feature Project ( IFP ) Independent Spirit Award for Best Debut Performance. In addition, Brown was awarded the Hollywood Women's Press Golden Apple award for "Young Discovery of the Year" with Haley Joel Osment. Brown was also the National Theatre Associations ' "Star of Tomorrow" ( ShoEast ).
Brown also starred in Stephen King's mini- series " Stephen King's damnation " as " Annie " ( one autistic and gifted Telekinetikerin ) with. In My Sister's Keeper, she played the "Christine", a 16 -year-old manic-depressive girl on the side of Lynn Redgrave, Kathy Bates & Elizabeth Perkins.
