Kimmo Koskenkorva

Kimmo Koskenkorva ( born June 21, 1978 in Haukipudas ) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who is since August 2013 in the Pelicans in the SM- liiga under contract.

Career

Kimmo Koskenkorva began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of Kärpät Oulu, for the first team he played from 1995 to 2000 in the second-class I- divisioona and after the rise of Kärpät two years in the SM- liiga. For the 2002/03 season the winger Tappara Tampere has been committed with the win, he went straight to the Finnish championship. In Tappara he remained for two more years before he also ran aground two years for Jokerit Lappeenranta. From 2007 to 2009, the Finn stood at Skellefteå AIK in the Swedish Elitserien on the ice.

From the season 2009/10 Koskenkorva arrived back at Kärpät Oulu under contract, before joining Lukko Rauma in April 2012. In August 2013 he received a sample contract with the Pelicans.

Internationally

For Finland Koskenkorva took in the years 2007 and 2009, at the Euro Hockey Tour in part.
