The Riyadh airport ( Engl King Khalid International Airport; Arab مطار الملك خالد الدولي Matar al -Malik Khalid ad - Duwalī; ICAO code: WCC, IATA: RUH) is an international airport located approximately 30 kilometers north of the capital, Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). It is named after Khalid ibn Abd al - Aziz.

Incidents
- On August 19, 1980 accident Saudia Flight 163 when attempting an emergency landing at the Riyadh airport after a fire broke out in the cargo compartment of the machine.
