The Kings Park Stadium, named after its sponsor ABSA Stadium, is a stadium in the Kings Park Sporting Precinct in Durban, South Africa.

It dates from 1891 and was extensively renovated in the mid-1990s. It has a capacity of 55,000 and is used for rugby and football.

1995 Rugby Union World Cup

The 3rd Rugby Union World Cup was held in South Africa in 1995. Total found in the Kings Park Stadium three games from Group B held: on 27 May 1995 ( England - Argentina), on 31 May 1995 (England - Italy) and on 4 June 1995 ( England - Samoa).

1996 African Cup of Nations

The 20th African Cup took place in 1996 held in South Africa. In Kings Park Stadium three group games, a quarter-final and one semi-final took place.

Concerts

On 15 October 1997, the final concert of Michael Jackson's HIStory World Tour with 45,000 visitors took place at the Kings Park Stadium.

On 20 February 2008 Celine Dion appeared as part of their tour " Taking Chances Tour" at the Kings Park Stadium.
