Kingston Frontenacs (EPHL)

The Kingston Frontenacs were a Canadian ice hockey franchise of the Eastern Professional Hockey League from Kingston, Ontario.

History

The Kingston Frontenacs were established in 1959 as a franchise of the inaugural Eastern Professional Hockey League. In this they acted as the farm team of the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League.

Following the 1962/ 63, in which the Frontenacs won the champion's title of EPHL, the league was disbanded and the Kingston Frontenacs stopped the game operation. Since 1989, an eponymous team plays in the Ontario Hockey League.
