The Kinnarps Arena is an ice hockey stadium in Jonkoping, Sweden. The stadium will host the home matches of HV 71 Jönköping from the highest Swedish league, the Elitserien.

History

The Kinnarps Arena is primarily used for ice hockey and handball matches as well as concerts. The HV 71 Jönköping from the Elitserien bears since the opening in 2001 of its home games in the stadium. The Arena was one of the venues during the Karjala Cup in 2000 and 2005, and one of three venues for the World Ice Hockey Championship 2002. 's Largest handball tournament in which the Kinnarps Arena served as the venue was the European Handball Championship 2002. During Handball world Championship for Men 2011, she serves as one of ten venues. In 2007 was a semi-final of Melodifestivalen, the Swedish preliminary decision for the Euro Vision Song Contest, held in Jönköping.

Larger scale reconstruction work took place in 2004, when the arena was expanded by 1000 seats and it was significantly modernized. The stadium is owned by the HV71 Fastighets AB, a subsidiary of the ice hockey club HV 71 Jönköping.
