Kirby Chambliss

Kirby Chambliss ( born October 18, 1959 in Corpus Christi, Texas) is an American aerobatic pilot and one of the participants in the Red Bull Air Race Series.

Age of 13, Chambliss was allowed to carry the stick of DIY aircraft his father. His formal training began, however, only in 1979 and ended in March of the following year with the acquisition of private pilots license. As a result, he hit a career as a pilot and worked as a flight instructor and pilot cargo. When he had to purchase an aerobatic license for a job as a pilot of a business jet, he discovered his interest in the sport and acquired as a result, in 1985 his first aerobatic plane in the form of a Pitts S2A.

In addition to his international championship titles admission to participate in the Red Bull Air Race Series is a clear indication that Kirby Chambliss belongs in his sport in the world top.
