History
First settlements about 750 to 500 BC are known prehistoric finds on the plateau west of Kirchensittenbach in the Forest Department Beckersloh. There 's a cemetery with 16 grave mounds from the Hallstatt period.
Kirchensittenbach came as a settlement first surfaced in baierischen Salbuch in 1275. In the years 1391 and 1450 Kirchensittenbach was sacked by Nürnberger Land servants. From 1504 to 1806 present-day municipality was part of the land territory of the city of Nuremberg.
Incorporations
On 1 January 1971 Algersdorf was incorporated into the parish church Sittenbach. On April 1, 1971, added Kleedorf. On 1 January 1972 followed Walldorf and a part of the community Treuf. Aspertshofen and Oberkrumbach closed on 1 January 1977, the number of incorporations.
