Kirchheim im Innkreis is a municipality in Upper Austria in the district of Ried in the Innviertel with 704 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013). The municipality is located in the judicial district of Ried.

Geography

Kirchheim im Innkreis is located on 429 m altitude in Innviertel. The expansion is 4.9 kilometers from north to south, from west to east 5.4 km. The total area is 10.2 km ². 15.7 % of the area is forested, 74.5 % of the area is used for agriculture.

The three mountain symbolizes the three surveys Kreuzberg, Kraxenberg and spring mountain and the agricultural environment of the community. The discs symbolize the three golden apples of Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of the parish. History

The first mention of Kirchheim comes from the period 1110-1125, as Rapato of Münzkirchen a good name Chirichium the Passau cathedral dedicated.
