Kirill Koltsov

Kirill Anatoljevich Koltzov (Russian Кирилл Анатольевич Кольцов; born 1 February 1983 in Chelyabinsk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player. Since July 2012, he plays for Salavat Yulaev Ufa in the Kontinental Hockey League.

Career

Koltzov began his career at HK Avangard Omsk, for whom he played until 2003. In 2002 NHL Entry Draft, he was selected in the second round by a total of 49 out of the Vancouver Canucks. In 2003 he moved to their farm team, the Manitoba Moose in the American Hockey League where he was the top scoring in his debut season counsel of his own team. After the 2004/ 05 season the links Sagittarius went back to his home club and played there until 2007 in the Super League. Then he moved to Salavat Yulaev Ufa, where he played until 2011 and 2008, and 2011, the Russian championship won.

In July 2011 Koltzov was obliged by SKA St. Petersburg, but returned after a year to Salavat.
