Kirk Hinrich

Kirk James Hinrich ( born January 2, 1981 in Sioux City, Iowa ) is an American professional basketball player who is currently in the employ of the Chicago Bulls in the NBA.

Hinrich in 2003 was "pulled" in the draft at position 7 of the Chicago Bulls, coming from the University of Kansas. With the Bulls, he held the position of the Guards and was appointed after his first year as a pro in the NBA All - Rookie First Team.

2006 brought "Captain Kirk " with the U.S. national team bronze at the 2006 World Cup in Japan.

Mid-2010, was traded to the Washington Wizards Kirk Hinrich of the Chicago Bulls. There he played until February 2011. He was transferred on February 23, 2011 in a trade for Mike Bibby to the Atlanta Hawks.

For the NBA season 2012/13 Hinrich will return to the Chicago Bulls. There, he signed a contract for two years.
