Kirkby Mallory

Kirkby Mallory is a town in the English county of Leicestershire.

The foundation of the town goes to Sir Anketil Malory, a knight from the 14th century back. He built the castle of Kirkby Manor, which gave the place its name. Ada Byron, the daughter of Lord Byron, who lived with her mother Anne Isabella Noel Byron, 11th Baroness Wentworth during her childhood in this property.
