Kirovske Raion
The Rajon Kirowske (Ukrainian Кіровський район / Kirowskyj rayon; Russian Кировский район / Kirowski raion, Crimean Tatar Islam Terek rayonı ) is a Ukrainian raion in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. He has an overall population of about 58,000 inhabitants and has an area of 1208 km ². It includes a city, an urban-type settlement, 38 villages and one settlement which are organized into 11 district municipalities.
Geography
The Rajon located in the Midwest of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, it is bordered on the northeast by the Sywaschsee ( part of the Azov Sea ), on the east by the Raion Lenine, in the southeast to the town of Feodosia, in the south to the city of Sudak, in the west on a short section on the Rajon Bilohirsk and to the northwest by the Rajon Sowjetskyj.
