Kirron Kher

Kiron Kher (Hindi: किरण खेर, Kiran Kher, born June 14, 1955) is an Indian television presenter, Bollywood and theater actress.

Biography

Kiron Kher hosted three television shows, Purushkshetra, Kiron Kher Today and Chased Raho with Kiron Kher, before they finally came to Bollywood: For her role in Devdas with Shahrukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai was, in the category Best Supporting Actress, for Filmfare Award nominations. Although she paused fifteen years (1981-1996) to raise her son Sikander, and at this time only a single film turned ( Pestonjee, 1988), she worked as Anupam Kher costume designer and worked in the film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge with. At the International Film Festival of Locarno 2003, she was for Khamosh Pani - Silent Waters won the Bronze Leopard. In October 2004, she had a guest role in the U.S. hospital drama ER, along with her husband Anupam Kher is also an actor.

Kher was previously married to Gautam Berry, a businessman and actor, from whom she was divorced in 1985 and with whom she has a son Sikander Kher.
