Kirschroth
Kirschroth is a municipality in the district of Bad Kreuznach in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Bad Sobernheim. Kirschroth is a nationally recognized tourist.
Geography
History
Kirchroth was first mentioned in documents as Roddenberry in 1364. 1816-1866 it belonged to the upper office Meisenheim of Hesse- Homburg and came up with in 1866 to Prussia.

The local council in Kirschroth consists of six council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman.
Coat of arms
The blazon of the arms is: " In red-gold geschachtem shield a silver slant right bar, topped with a red border fox holding a vine with leaf in the catch ."
The checkerboard pattern is taken from the coat of arms of the Rhine Count von Grumbach. The colors red and gold are reminiscent of the old Dhaunsche and Kyrburgische line of Wildgrafen. The fox symbolizes the volksmundartliche designation cherry Rother foxes. The vine refers to the important place for the wine.
