Kirstin Freye

Kirstin Freye - Menzler ( born May 20, 1975 in Herford as Kirstin Freye ) is a German former tennis player.

She plays for the RTHC Bayer Leverkusen, their previous clubs were TC Herford, Bielefeld TTC, BW Cologne, Reutlingen.

Freye - Menzler was German youth champion singles and doubles in 1992, Junior Fed Cup World Champion team 1991 ( with Marketa Kochta and Heike Rusch ) and European Cup Winners Youth 1992.

Her greatest success in the WTA Tour was reaching the second round at the Australian Open 2003 in doubles (with the Yugoslav Dragana Zaric ). Her best World No. 198 was in the single (1993) and 88 in the double ( 2003).

Freye - Menzler is married to the former ATP player and today DTB -A coach Markus Menzler and DTB -B - trainer in Herford.
