Kit Hood
Kit Hood is a Canadian television director, writer and film producer.
Hood was an editor for the Walt Disney Productions in London before emigrating to Canada in 1969. In the early 1970s he was active in the processing of television commercials.
As a member of the Toronto Film Co-operative he met Linda Schuyler and helped her to make a film for the Toronto school about children with a migration background. After the success of this project Hood and Schuyler founded the production company " game time ". They had their first documentation Jimmy the name - borrowed game with time ( 1979).
Schuyler now lives separately from Hood and founded the production company Epitome Pictures. In 1997, Hood directed the children's film Maddy dancing on the moon. In this film had the then unknown Elisha Cuthbert her first film role.
