Kitewing

A Kitewing (or also called Skimbat ) is a reduced Hang Glider, which can be used as a sail for dirtsurfers, Allterrainboard, inline skate, ski and skate driving. The Kitewings are currently (August 2006) between 3.8 m² and 5.5 m².

Wind speed of 3 m / s on the ice and 5 m / s on snow are required for driving in the plane with a Kitewing. May speeds of 70 to 100 km / h reach. If the Kitewing used in conjunction with Alpine skiing, smaller flights can be realized up to 290 m wide. In the countryside jumps from 5 m height and up to 40 m length can be jumped.
