The KSF Copenhagen ( officially Kjøbenhavns Skøjteløberforening - German Copenhagen Skating Association ) is an association founded on February 4, 1869 Danish skating club from Copenhagen, who became known for his hockey department notoriety. The team plays today (2011) in the third-rate second division and contributes their home games at Dome Multi Ryparken from.

History

The Copenhagen skating club was founded in 1869. The Hockey team of the club was in the 1954/55 season of the founding members of the Danish Ice Hockey Championship. In the following two decades dominated the team, the Danish ice hockey and won in 1956, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1970, 1972 and 1976 respectively to the national championship. International represented KSF multiple Denmark in Hockey European Cup, never came across this but beyond the first round. After the descent in the 1984/85 season the team was unable to build on the previous successes. In the seasons 1996/97 and 1998/99 the team failed in the relegation at the resurgence in the AL-Bank Ligaen.

In the season 2011/12 the KSF Copenhagen plays in the third-rate second division.
