Kjeller

Kjeller a Norwegian village, about 20 km east of the capital Oslo is located. It belongs to the province of Akershus and commune Skedsmo.

In Kjeller some of the most important Norwegian research institutes gathered at a short distance. The Research Institute of the Norwegian military ( Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt (FFI ) ), the Institute for Energy Technology ( Institutt for Energiteknikk (IFE ) ), the research institute of the telecom company Telenor ( Telenor Forskning og Utvikling ( Tfou ) ), the Institute for the Study of Air Pollution ( Norsk institutt for luftforskning ( NILU )) and the University of Akershus.
