The Kjosfossen is a legendary waterfall in Norway. It belongs to the municipality of Aurland in Sogn og Fjordane county, located directly at the Flåm Railway. 1951 was built near the waterfall, a holding place for the train so that passengers can get off the train to visit the waterfall. The holding place is about four kilometers from the Myrdal station at an altitude of 670 meters above the sea.
During the peak tourist season in the summer appear at the entrance of the train Feengestalten ( norw Huldrene ) who perform a dance at the waterfall. The performers are students at the Norwegian Ballet School.
