KkStB Class 265

The kkStB 265 were local train tank locomotives of the kk Austrian State Railways, which were originally procured by the Bohemian Northern Railroad Company as a series VIb for the operation on the local railway Bohemian Leipa - Steinschönau.

History

The two locomotives were built in 1907 by the First Czech-Moravian Machine factory in Prague.

The locomotives remained during their time on their regular route. The Czechoslovak State Railways ČSD arranged the locomotives from 1924 in the range 312.7. The German Reichsbahn gave the locomotives during the Second World War, the series number 90.3. With the commissioning of the new railcars of Class M 131.1 locomotives were retired in 1949.
