Klamydia

Klamydia ( Finnish for chlamydia ) is founded in 1988, punk rock band from the western Finnish city of Vaasa. The band's history is marked by a variety of changes in the composition of the members - only singer Vesa Jokinen belongs to the line-up since the founding of uninterrupted - but also a tireless that led so far to 24 albums and a total of well over 300 songs has.

Due to the fact that practically all of the songs are recorded in Finnish ( a few also in Swedish ), the band outside Finland is known only to a few people. The band also already led tours through Germany and by each published an LP with the band " The Black Sheep " and " The local heroes ". In Finland, the group is known for their lyrics, which are often classified into vulgarity. However, socially critical issues are in some of their songs.

The band can be left on relatively good sales are always from music critics but it is not highly regarded.

The band formed in 1992 with " Kråklund Records " her own label, belonging to the mittlwerweile several Finnish rock bands.
