John Klanac ( born July 20, 1988 in Buffalo ) is an American volleyball player.

Career

Klanac began his volleyball career at Orchard Park High School in his hometown. In 2007 he began to study the science of history at Ohio State University, where he played in the team of the Buckeyes. 2011 won the outside attackers, who also played in the junior national team, the university in the U.S. Championship with a final victory against the favored team of UC Santa Barbara. This ended his time at the university and not wanting to go to the beach volleyball, he was looking for a club in Europe. Finally, the German Bundesliga club RWE Volleys Bottrop obliged the Americans. Klanac but could not prevent the descent of the RWE Volleys from the Bundesliga 2011/12. At season's end, he left the first division to an unknown destination.
