Kläui ligand
Kläui - tripod ligands ( tripodally: dreifüßig ) are developed by Wolfgang Kläui tridentate ligands of the type Na [ η5 - C5H5Co { P (O ) (OR ) 2} 3], where R can be varied within wide limits.
Description
The tridentate ligands are tripodal, facial coordinating, monoanionic 6 -e - donor ligands. Due to the variations of the radicals are a wide range of steric and electronic properties can be adjusted.
The ligands are widely used for example in catalysis, complexes with Kläui - tripod ligands are used as model compounds for the study of zinc enzymes use.
