Klaus Emmerich (director)
Klaus Emmerich ( born August 10, 1943 in Freital, Saxony ) is a German television and stage director and screenwriter and actor.
Life
Emmerich grew up in King Winter and Karlsruhe and now lives in Berlin.
He had his breakthrough with his seventh film, The First Polka ( 1979) with Maria Schell and Claus Theo Gärtner. Arise movies like Trokadero (1981 ) with Franz Xaver Kroetz and Pizza Colonia with Mario Adorf next television films ( Morlock with Götz George ) and television series such as Red Earth. Emmerich directed several Tatort episodes.
